This policy explains what information FolioFledge ("we," "us") collects when you use foliofledge.com, and what we do with it. The summary: as little as possible.
1. Calculator inputs never leave your device
Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. The financial numbers you enter — incomes, balances, loans, goals — are never transmitted to, stored on, or seen by our servers. Inputs may be reflected in your page URL so you can bookmark or share a scenario; that URL stays on your device unless you choose to send it.
2. Information we collect
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records basic technical data for security and performance: IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps. Retained briefly, not used to identify you.
- Analytics. If we use analytics, it is aggregate-level (popular pages, visitor countries) and configured without cross-site tracking wherever the tool allows.
- Email. If you contact us, we receive your address and message, used solely to reply.
3. Advertising and cookies
FolioFledge is supported by advertising. Third-party ad vendors, including Google AdSense, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info.
- Visitors in the EEA/UK see a consent prompt before any non-essential cookies are set, as required by GDPR and ePrivacy rules.
4. Affiliate links
Some pages may contain affiliate links to financial products. Clicking one may set a cookie from the merchant to attribute the referral. This never affects calculator results or editorial content, and costs you nothing.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California, and similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. 6. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
